Hi folks,

I wanted to respond to the question about whether infants can take acidophilus.
I started giving my daugher acidophilus when she was 10 weeks old. She was
taking antibiotics as a prophylactic for Lyme Disease (I emptied a capsule into
a bottle of expressed milk several times a day). My pediatrician felt this was
an excellent idea. I've given both kids acidophilus each day (and 2-3 after)
whenever they have taken antibiotics. I would recommend any human take it
during the times they are especially vulnerable to a yeast overgrowth.
