There is a good article from Mothering from a couple of years ago about Vit 
D.  It is co-authored by Mishawn Purnell-O'Neal who has also written a book 
about breastfeeding in the African American community (the title is mentioned in 
her bio at the end of the article).  It has very good information pertaining 
to African American children.
