It may give the baby strong bones, but I remember drinking milk when I was
pregnant - up to a liter a day because everything else made me sick, and I
had terrible pains in my legs. I later read in several books, including
"What to Expect" that drinking a lot of milk during pregnancy can cause leg
pains because of the high phosphorous content in cow's milk. It may even
cause calcium depletion in the mother's bones. So, the calcium may be a
good thing, but the phosphorous is not, and there are much better sources
of calcium than cow's milk for pregnant moms(as you know, since you're the
PhD and I'm not).

Nofia - who sends her kids to kindergarten with a bag of almonds raisins,
and other dried fruits in the morning.
