Ruth, sometimes you have to get these kids who don't suck automatically to
swallow. I would try to drip milk over the breast while infant is poised at
nursing position...Use an eye dropper or a tuberculin syringe...no needle,
to do this dripping. Sometimes , if they start swallowing, they start
sucking.  Kathleen
