Did anyone else see the story on the Today show this morning?  It was about
Mothers who murder their infants.  As grotesque as it sounds, it was very
interesting. They said that mothers who do this do not even know what they
are doing.  They're usually young, isolated emotionally, don't have family to
talk to about feelings, and are in denial of pregnancy.  The key they
emphasized  was that these mothers never "bonded" to their infants.  As they
say this, they show an infant nursing at the breast!  There was a quick shot
at the beginning (of baby at breast), and a longer shot toward the end of the
baby latched-on & gazing up at mom!
