Diana,
Thank you for your response! I am looking forward to the book. I see so
many more moms with IGT now than I did even 5 years ago. In our WIC office
we are trying hard to get moms to have prenatal IBCLC visits especially
when they report little or no breast changes or if they have symtoms of
possible insulin-resistance. Theyappreciate having some tools and
preparation for when baby arrives. Two moms have shared that knowing before
new baby arrives helps them deal with the disappointment and grief if they
can't exclusively breastfeed especially when they have had previous
production issues with older children. Knowledge is so powerful and
understanding it is NOT their fault is huge. I will share the survey with
the moms I have worked with!
Warmly,
Michele
