I know that when I was working in a local hospital, the ped in charge of the
babies undergoing methodone withdrawal was advocating that people (moms or
others) carry the babies in slings or front packs to see if the babies did
better than they had been in isolation. I left shortly afterwards, so am not
sure what she concluded, but if you email me privately, I can forward her
phone number. BTW, I would strongly suggest she contact a homeopath and/or
naturopath. There are homeopathic remedies to help the body detox (completely
safe) and Bach Flower remedies, as well as perhaps things I do not know about.
