Susan..

That's interesting...hhhhmmm...could this be a one out of a possible thousand or so reasons that bf babies are less susceptible to obesity? Seems to quench my thirst for that reasoning....no pun intended ;).....just a thought...WOW Thanks for that!

  Dear all:

Thanks to a few tips, I managed to track down references on adult stomach size that made
more sense to me than 2 to 4 liters --- all ranging in a more reasonable 1 liter. Anyway ---
back tracking through the day 1 5-7 ml intake --- I calculated that a baby given a 2 oz
bottle soon after birth is given the equivalent of 18 --- yes EIGHTEEN --- of an adult
drinking the standard small size water bottles (half liter) sold by street vendors in New
York. A 10 day old baby given a 4 oz bottle is given the equivalent of 3 --- THREE --- wof
an adult drinking the standard small water bottles. Some people can readily drink three
water bottles. I can't drink one water bottle in a sitting.

Best, Susan Burger
