Does anyone have any experience with this?

I got a call from a mom, 3 week old baby, c-section (scheduled because 1st
baby was a section). She is on Keflex and dr said Pyridium, but pharmisist
said not to use while breastfeeding. I looked it up in Hales and it says it
is not recommended for breastfeeding or pregnant moms. Azo is an alternative,
but it's a sulpha med and this mom is alergic to sulpha. Are there any other
drugs to help mom through those horrible first days with a uti? Is Pyridium
that bad?

Thanks

Joylyn
