Dear Colleagues

I would like to draw your attention to page 10 of the IBLCE CERPs Provider
Guide. Another colleague brought it to my attention, and I think it is a
concrete example of how the new "Minimizing Commercial Influence on
Education" document fails to prevent conflicts of interest.

The theory is that as long as the company does not get to stipulate (it must
be unrestricted) how their money is spent then it is okay to accept the
money.

At a time when most professions are tightening rules around relationships
with industry, IBLCE is opening the door.

I am disappointed (understatement) about this development.

Joy
