According to the March 1997 issue of AAP News (American Academy
of Pediatrics) , a media campaign will take place in April to "establish an
enduring collection of resources to help families nurture their children".  It
is spearheaded by the New York-based Families and Work Institute.  The
campaign will stress the importance of life experiences and learning
during the first three years of life.

The campaign will consist of 1) a prime time special (called "I Am Your
Child" which will air April 28 on ABC stations.  2) A Newsweek special
edition.  3) Public Service Announcements.  4) A how-to video for
parents.  5) a CD-ROM and web-site.  6) Discussion of public policy
initiatives.

Does anyone know more about this?  WIll breastfeeding information be
included?
