ok, I found it and have seen it for myself, ...the IBLCE site  info about the 
background of the new interim director outlines some  very impressive 
experience, including <<....years of experience in U.S.  and international food and 
nutrition programs. He has developed and managed  international food assistance 
projects>>, that info may, to the very  astute reader (not I) merely smell 
mildly fishy, ....but, what Rachel dug up  stinks to high heaven!
 
also, the absence of words or any wording directly related to breastfeeding  
or lactation could be considered a glaring red flag, so, what could be  the 
reasonable rationale be for this choice, by whatever group made it?
 
Also Rachel rightly points out that the IBLCE does need the expertise of  
someone experienced and savvy in the ways of Capitol Hill, ...the IBLCE may  want 
to consider hiring a legislative consultant for that expertise.
 
Wonder what Valerie M would be writing about  this.
