Regarding kids being more receptive to Breastfeeding
than adults-

As I was leaving to teach my Breastfeeding class the
other night- My eldest son of 10 yrs asked if I was
working all night (the normal 12 hours) and I said
"No, I'll be back at 9:30pm, I'm just teaching a
class."
"On what?" he asked
"Breastfeeding" I answered.
"WHAT!!!  You have to TEACH women to breastfeed their
babies?  That's crazy!" was his shocked response!

He sees it as SO ordinary and so NORMAL that he was
shocked to learn many first time mothers need to take
a class to feel confident and able to do it!!

hopefully someday his reality will catch on in our
society!
