I know this is really off-topic, but proves that you don't have to buy
Hershey's or Nestle's to make a fantastic chocolate chip cookie. We ban
Nasty Nestle and their subsidiary products too.
I make Hillary Clinton's oatmeal chocolate chip cookie, with my own
variations. This is possibly the best cookie recipe I have ever seen
(probably because she had a professional make it for her? who knows?). The
other companies' semi-sweets just don't do this recipe justice. I gladly
tell all of my conservative friends that it's hers. I'm sure Hillary
supports breastfeeding and not Nestle? I know the Gores ban Nestle products
(hence my vote for them in the 1988 primaries and the last go-round).
My secret is like the others have said: Ghiradelli's Chocolate Chips. Their
semi-sweets are great, for those who have dairy allergies or intolerances,
like my family. I make the Ghiradelli's milk chocos for my friends and the
semis for my family. One cookie is usually enough after a meal! If you want
the recipe, please email me off list [log in to unmask] Your
family will crown you "Queen" for it!
