I always instruct my mothers to rinse the tubing after use with tap water.  A
while back, one mother forgot to do so and the tubing got clogged by the
breastmilk left in it.  I suggested she place it in very hot water as it says
not to boil it.  This loosened the milk and unplugged the tubing.
