Sorry to be incredibly boring and repetitive.  The UK Baby Friendly 
Initiative has a sample hospital policy on their website (they also have a 
sample policy for community facilities).  I have not read it, but it is 
easily accessible.  You go to their website:

put 'policy' into the search box, and it comes up at about number 5. 

The BFI initiative in the UK is now gaining quite a bit of govt recognition 
(at last) -- it is cited as the recommended standard of care in the NICE 
(National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence) postnatal guidelines 
and also, just this year, by the Scientific Advisory Committee on Nutrition. 
The Department of Health in the UK has produced a breastfeeding leaflet and 
a leaflet on weaning (that is introducing complementary solids to me and 
you) *in conjunction* with BFI. 

So their policy will be generic, but authoritative.  Of course, UK culture 
is somewhat different from USA, but the Ten Steps are global.
