Hey,

 

I do do my hair and I even wear a bit of make-up!  The clients love that I
dress the way I do, the toddlers LOVE the tattoos (I have a 'bracelet' on
each wrist and an arm-band on my upper left arm - if the kids are older they
find my kids' initials in between the flowers.), and I am comfy.  I even
take my shoes off at the door (or somewhere) because I hate working in my
shoes!  Go figure.  I remember my mentor giving me a hard time for a while
because of the way I dress (she dresses 'professionally') - but she finally
gave up.  :-)  I am who I am.I think I have only had 2 clients in 11 yrs
take issue with my very casual (but nice) attire.  Of course they were
extremely wealthy, and both were in full make-up, hair beautifully styled
and wearing dressy, designer outfits (that probably cost more than my entire
wardrobe!) with a spotless house, and DARK circles under their eyes.
