Great point Anne, I have theorized about that also. I have a friend who had
repeated episodes of painful, plugged ducts, I gave her the standard advice
with the first call which cleared them quickly. They continued to recur, 1
side only and upon questioning her extensively it turns out that she was
continuing to massage with hear very frequently after the resolution in an
attempt to avoid the recurrence. When we had her cut that out, the problem
resolved.
