Renee, I had very much the same feelings when my daughter-in-law vehemently 
declined to BF. :-(  You feel sad and hurt for what you know the baby will 
not get and then you move on.  I'm sure it will be harder if you are in 
close geographic proximity (mine was several states away - I think that made 
it easier and I joked about it) and good grief - I did get to feed the baby 
when I went to visit :-)  AARRGGHH, BTW, they have turned out OK , cute and 
smart, but just think how much smarter they would have been !  :-)   Pat in
