Ros here, reporting from Zimbabwe on stage one of my travels. First, let me
tell you all that Pam is all her posts suggest she is, and more. We are
having a wonderful time tossing ideas around.

I went on a day trip to Victoria Falls today (fantastic) and there was a
breastfeeding monkey by the side of the path, waiting to be photographed.
However, the curious thing was that the baby quite clearly seemed to have
both nipples in it's mouth! Is this an unappreciated advantage of
saggy/stretchy breasts? Can our ancestors teach us new techniques? The baby
was feeding beautifully with the characteristic suck/swallow we know so well.

We visited Harare Hospital on Friday and saw two wards full mothers doing
kangaroo care. Rows and rows of mothers reclining semi-upright on angled
beds with their tiny babies tied to their chests 24 hours a day, twins
included. A few had their babies off to express or cup feed. What a vision!
And no photos allowed!
