I have not seen the Ameda ad, but breast pumps are not?within the scope of?the Code. If a collection or storage container is shown with the pump, that does not violate the Code either. If the collection container had a nipple unit on it or a nipple unit was shown in the ad then the violation would occur.

The acquisition of Ameda by Evenflo was finalized earlier this month. Some may not like the text of the ad but it does not violate the Code. If you wish to complain about the text of the ad, that complaint would go to Ameda. If you think a Code violation has occured that would be reported to me at NABA.
