Dear Friends
I too am so sorry to hear that Jan has died. She was one of the pioneers in
our field and her books were my guides. Sincerely, Toby Gish Retired RN,
IBCLC (Haifa Israel)

Subject: So sorry to hear about Jan Riordan

Dear friends

I just wanted to say how very sad I am to hear about the death of Jan. Her
book, Breastfeeding and Human Lactation, in various editions, has been on
my bookshelf since 1989. I saw her speak at a Conference, probably in
Washington in 2006. She was one of the great names in our field, and she
will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Thank you, Jan, for all you have done for mothers and babies over so many
decades.

Pamela Morrison IBCLC
Rustington, England.
