I will remember this distinction as I am struggling  with the other side of this debate at work.   I find myself having to argue for decreases in self disclosure there.  Many of the staff over use their own personal experience and opinions and it is precisely because it contradicts evidence based practice that I object.  Thank you Lucy for clarifying that point for me.        Carla
