Yes, thrush can be one-sided. It can be one nipple or two, one breast or
two.
Sometimes it can be one-sided b/c of damage on that side, eg teething infant
may have damaged nipple and allowed thrush in to the skin.

A bacterial infection will usually look yellow, oozy, discharge, etc.
