I have is not strictly in the medical field, but I strongly agree
with Barbara Wilson-Clay's comprehensive and excellent post. My
alarm bells strongly suggest that you urge the parents to get
expert assessment (definitely with the emphasis on "expert") of
this baby. The developmental delay you describe, along with the
rather frightening rag doll behavior, on top of the bubble palate
- could this be part of some syndrome? Please let us know what
