The easy thing to try is to change the prenatal vitamin, to see if that
is the issue.   PNV can cause metallic smells, can cause dye to be
secreted into the milk that stains the clothes.

Is this baby getting any fatty acid enriched formulas?  I have noticed
that some babies given these formulas smell particularly bad, like dirty
socks.
