Tina,

Thank you so much for sharing this fascinating Smithsonian article on a protocol to treat sepsis using IV vitamin C, hydrocortisone, and thiamine. I so hope it will be most helpful for Norma, and am sharing it here for others who haven't yet read your post. https://www.smithsonianmag.com/science-nature/could-deadly-infections-be-cured-vitamin-c-180963843/

Linus Pauling had a keen interest in vitamin C, and if he were still alive, would surely find this protocol fascinating. Who could have imagined that IV vitamin C used together with hydrocortisone and thiamine could have such dramatic effects in quickly and effectively treating sepsis? Pauling was so enamored of vitamin C that he was reported to take 3,000 milligrams of oral Vitamin C daily. In spite of his contributions to science with the polio vaccine and much more, Pauling received enormous criticism for his proposals that vitamin C should be studied in the treatment of cancers, AIDS, and other illnesses.

The IV vitamin C-hydrocortisone-thiamine protocol is now in use around the world, although its leading proponents have received some criticism and skepticism. This Smithsonian article also mentions Ignaz Semmelweis, another well-known figure from history whose great contributions were accompanied by severe and widespread ridicule. Semmelweis died at age 47 in a mental institution, and he died two weeks after he was forcibly admitted there. He died from a gangrenous wound following a severe beating by guards. His death certificate lists the cause of death as "pyemia - blood poisoning."

Thank you again for this article.

With best regards,

Debbie
