A mother still BF her 2 year old was practically ordered to wean him before starting treatment.  Don't know how much she is taking daily, can find out.  She is very pleased with the therapy, but doesn't dare tell her doctor or any of her son's HCPs that he still gets a meal at the breast two to four times a MONTH.  She feels guilty that her medication could be harmful to him.  But she still enjoys their BF relationship and can't bring herself to refuse him when he clearly appreciates it so much that he treats it like a special occasion.
My immediate reaction is that this can't possibly be dangerous to him, but I can't seem to find anything on it.  Comments appreciated!
