I'm usually a lurker, but have a question. Could bursitis in the arm and
shoulder cause pains in a lactating breast that feel similar to those
with a blocked duct? Mom in question is nursing a toddler, and sought
medical help for pain that wouldn't go away. Saw G.P. who referred for a
mammogram although no lump could be found, but diagnosis was it was the
bursitis causing the pain.

Thanks,
Melissa K., mom and LLLL applicant.
