A few years ago, I had a (screening) colonoscopy and I could drink
clear liquids (no reddish colors) ad lib. I drank tons and tons of
cream soda (a carbonated soda pop) because it tasted good and I didn't
feel so hungry. So hopefully the mom of twins in question can drink
lots of nourishing liquids to give her calories and hydration, perhaps
some fruit juices and broth and non-red jello.
