My response is to calmly respond to the effect of:
"Excuse me? Please tell me how my profession can in any way be compared to a group of mass murderers?
Is that REALLY what you want to call me?"
It's a quick, face to face, lookemintheeyes response designed to throw it right back onto the speaker - in a polite tone of voice because it's usually in the hallway of the hospital.

...after planning, reading Lactnet and LCinPP, I had this in my head ready for the next person who said it.
The other favorite word, "breastapo", gets the same response.

ranting...)
