Does anyone have information on the role of heavy exercise (running several
miles every day or two) on lactational amenorrhea and infertility? One of my
clients would like to become pregnant again soon, without weaning her 9 month
old, and preferably without stopping running and exercising, though she is
willing to sacrifice that. Time is of the essence for her. Any suggestions?
She is an allied health professional, and would appreciate any references on
exercise and prolactin release or exercise and infertility, or even any
speculation.
TIA,

(I wish to apologise for being scarce lately, my father in law was just
diagnosed with cancer, seems to be treatable.)
