Wendi,
I know you said you weren't comfortable donating formula to a food bank.
Would you be comfortable donating it to Child Protective Services (or
whatever name it goes by in your area)?  As a foster parent I find it very
valuable if the caseworker can bring some formula with them when bringing
over an abandoned or removed baby late at night.  Almost all offices have a
room for donations of clothes, diapers, toys, furniture, formula and other
items.   As much as it breaks my heart to feed these little ones with ABM
unless they medically qualify for banked milk there isn't much of an
alternative.
