My good friend Kay Hoover asked me to post this case to see what ideas you
folks have about it.

G 3, P 3, L3 woman
one month postpartum
Was breastfeeding until 10 days ago when she got mastitis, started
antibiotic, and started pumping. I do not know why she chose to pump.
Has been pumping lots of milk. More than the baby takes.
Over the past 24 hours her milk supply has disappeared. Maybe gets an ounce
when she pumps.
No hormones or decongestant use.
I suggested--get hormones checked, especially thyroid.
Go to bed with baby and breastfeed non-stop.
Does anyone have any ideas about this situation? I'm stumped.
Kay
