A mother I am working with wants help in clarifying what the Koran says about
weaning. Both she and her husband believe in Muslim teachings but the
husband thinks the Koran says a child should not nurse beyond 2 years of age.
As her daughter is now 18 months and showing no signs of weaning she is
worried. She doesn't plan to stop but wants other opinions about what the
Koran means.
