I've been talking with a G3P2 due in 2 weeks mom who has had bloody
colostrum/milk starting during pregnancy. With her first child her brst milk was
bloody - pink to red to rusty and never changed in 2 months; with her 2nd
child the color was the same but cleared after a month. I spoke with an
OB/GYN friend yesterday and he felt it could be a benign papilloma and not
worrisome. Her mother had breast ca 7 years ago. Her OB now is sending her
to a breast specialist at mom's insistance. She has no bloody discharge when
she's not pregnant. She's never had any workup. She did see a breast
specialist 3 yrs ago after her son was born. They looked at her breast milk but
by then it was clear. They never did anything else. Any thoughts, experiences?
