I have worked with a few moms who also had surgery in their early Post Partum
period. One had twins. But none had problems with their supply. All of
them nursed within a few hours of surgery. The mom with twins was only 6 weeks
post partum. Her mother and sister were there with the babies nearly all of
the time and shortly after surgery she nursed. She nursed well past a year with
her boys. The other moms I didn't have long term follow up, just briefly for
a little while prior to and right after surgery.
