"With this anti-frenulum physician, we had a patient some time ago whose baby
just couldn't transfer milk at the breast. She pumped and tried to bottle
for awhile but gave up. Chose not to have switch to another physician or to
have the pedi dentist clip it. Was concerned her doctor would get mad.
Switched to formula. At about 2 months of age, baby was admitted to the
Peds unit for failure to thrive. "

I think that the above comments gets to one heart of the problem...a mom is
afraid that a health care provider will be MAD, and yet allows her baby to
get to a FTT situation and be hospitalized?

Do I need drugs? Am I reading this correctly? Egos have no place in
this..that is what is apparent to me..and mothers should not be sacrificing
their baby's health in this way.

I think that this power grid/balance is out of whack.
