Thanks Barbara and everyone who responded to my question about a mom nursing
with possible mono.
Well she found out it was NOT mono.  The swelling on her neck was an
abscess!!  She had a bad strep throat and the doctors said it was secondary
to that.  She is on heavy duty antibiotics and the swelling/abscess is
already shrinking in size and she is still nursing well.
