Microcalcifications in the breast can signify breast cancer if they are
clustered together.  Calcifications in the breast are a normal sign of
ageing or a sign that there was a previous tissue injury.  There would
be no reason to avoid breastfeeding with an area of calcification in the
breast.

My personal favorite breast surgeon is Dr. James Rucinski of NY
Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn (area code 718).  Email me privately for
