A dear friend (age 49, mother of 7 breastfed kids, all teens or older) has just learned that she has a large cancerous lump in her breast, with some lymph involvement. She is meeting with a surgeon and oncologist soon, to learn the extent and treatment options. Her friends and family have shared a myriad of possible treatment options, from aggressive/conservative allopathic medicine, to herbal, naturopathic, homeopathic, dietary, prayer/faith and other alternative treatment.

I would like to know where to go to get the best and latest information about breast cancer and it's treatments; both western medicine, and alternatives.

Thanks for any information you may have.
