Hi Jayne,
Something similar to this has been described briefly in Maureen
Minchin's book, 'Breastfeeding Matters'. This is in the section on
white spot. She refers to the particles as 'corpora amylaceae (milk
bodies)'. Goes of to say they are 'concretions of casein and calcium
found in the milk of dairy animals. And found more frequently in milk
of traumatised or mastitis udders.'
