I wasn't saying that the "pink lady" picture shouldn't be in the calandar.  I like having a big variety of mom types included.  I do feel, though, that the cover might better be a more "mainstream" mom or perhaps "middle of the road" so as not to turn off so many at first glance.  If people have a positive first impression, then a variety including some they may not appreciate among those they like would have a better chance of leaving an overall positive impression.
