Kathleen Bruce wrote: "I would like to congratulate Cynthia Good Mojab, our
own Lactnetter, for a fine job on her compilation of articles and research
relating to Vit D supplementation. It's a wonderful piece of work, and I
have just taken a close look at it and am astounded at the articles and
breadth of this website."

Kathleen, thank you very much for your kind words about my work. It is
gratifying to know that others are finding it helpful--perhaps especially
so because I do the vast majority of my work as a volunteer. My research
and writing on vitamin D, in particular, has been an extremely time- and
energy-consuming labor of love. I am passionate about the rights of mothers
to make informed decisions about breastfeeding. When I began researching
the issue of sunlight deficiency over two years ago, I found that the
information needed to make informed decisions was not at all easily
accessible. I hope my work has changed that.

In turn, I am grateful for all that Lactnet provides: the ability to
network with other professionals in my field; the opportunity to give and
receive information, companionship and support; and the validation that our
work makes a positive difference in the lives of breastfeeding families
around the world.

Sincerely,

Cynthia
