Tell her about cabbage leaves.  There have been posts with impressive
results using cabbage leaves to relieve engorgement of such breast tissue.
She probably wouldn't believe it at first, but if you can collect the posts
about cabbage leaf re"leaf" she might see it as a hopeful solution.
