Hi Sue,
re the baby with very frequent bm's...my first thought was foremilk
hindmilk imbalance -- are the stool runny or greenish, looking like loose
scrambled eggs with spinach..(isn't that a pleasant picture, sorry) if her
milk supply is abundant this baby might be getting too much foremilk... try
expressing off a bit then getting in there for some serious
hindmilk....perhaps some maturation of the gut is still going on?

I'm also wondering if the frequency isn't the problem, rather the
cleaning/diapering methods! -- what kind of cleaning is she doing... Some
babies are really sensitive to the ingredients is commercial baby wipes and
soaps... how about warm wash cloths gently applied to any excretions but
careful not to "wipe" (as I've seen some moms scrub the skin unknowingly
hard) and then a good diaper oitment to "protect" the skin... there are many
such procucts... a good calendula cream would be one I'd stand behind... I'm
sure others have recommendations as well. (obviously i'm not diagnosing nor
perscribing treatment just suggestions)...

good luck!
