Hi folks-

This is my third attempt to get some wisdom on working with a nursing
bulimic mom.  I can't be the first one with this experience.  One person
posted me on the dangers of bulimia (and I thank her) but without any
concrete info on its implications for breastfeeding.  I am particularly
concerned about the mom's use of syrup of ipecac to induce vomiting in
herself.  I suspect that the implications for the nursling are
nutritional and not toxic, but I would really like to hear from others
who have counseled nursing moms with this eating disorder.  Considering
its prevalence I find it hard to believe that I am the first.
