Aside from what we know about feeding "choice" and method, and obesity, the article focused on activity.
Maybe this could be related to babies who spend most of their days in the "bucket". In a recent conversation with an "expecting" couple, they described concern for a niece who, at almost 12 mos of age, could not yet crawl. She spent her time in a crib or in the "bucket". She was never put on her tummy for play. And she was a "big baby" and partially breastfed for a few weeks.
