I assume these are the ones you're talking about Marian. If so,our hospital
(large city private (175-200 births/month) has never handed these out (we've
only been open 4+1/2 years) so don't have that problem! I've just booked in
to another hospital to have my baby and got a "mother to be bag". I was
horrified at the info in the booklets/samples in there especially from the
babyfood company. I didn't think the stuff from the church owned food
company was too bad  (from what I remember they said 6 months for
introducing solids and didn't push buying premade baby food). I got really
mad at the time and was going to write to the hospital, the bag people and
the companies - but got lost in the fatigue of 1st trimester! The "new
mother bags" must be worse.
