There was a nice write-up in our local paper, The Patriot-News. Positive
quotes from the organizer of the group and a couple of moms were the
mainstay. Nobody mentioned ever being asked to leave a public place while
nursing, but they said they sometimes were recipients of "nasty comments
and looks". Central PA is a rather conservative area, but most media outlets
present breastfeeding as a mother's and child's right, and of course "the best
nutrition". Letters to the editor often run at least 3-1 in favor of nursing in
public when the issue has arisen.
